Don't forget our next meeting is at my house on May 31st from 11:00am 'till. The downstairs system will include my big line arrays along with various components that you guys bring to the meeting. The upstairs system will be starting with Kyle's Hawthorne Audio Silver Iris OB's driven be his spud amp. We'll have generous libations of the cold foam-capped liquid that confirms God's love for us along with something or other to eat, so don't eat on the way.

I'm there and Rose is coming too. Allthough I think she is more interested in seeing Linda than the audio gear.

Luther's response reminded me that wives can come to bottlehead meetings too. Like Rose, Linda isn't very interested in the equipment, but they have fun doing girl things together.

The subdivision is off of Eldridge Parkway in Northwest
Houston. If you're coming from Hwy 290 go South on Eldridge Pkwy; If
you're coming from I-10 go North.

The entrance street is called Lakes On Eldridge Blvd.
It's the only light between Clay Rd and Tanner Rd, about 4-4.5 miles
from either 290 or I-10.

The Subdivision is gated/guarded.
I'll notify the security guard to admit you if you tell him/her
you're coming to Fred Thompson's house.

After you drive through the gate, TURN LEFT EVERY TIME YOU COME TO A
STOP SIGN:

Left on Lake Shore Ridge
Left on Lake Center Run
Left on Summer Falls
Left on Emerald Brook

After you have turned left onto Emerald Brook you will be facing
my house, which is a red brick two story at the bend in the
road. Look for my gray Ford Ranger truck parked in front.
The address is 12110 Medina Bend Lane.

If you get lost telephone 713-466-9631 and a rescue party will be
dispatched.  Grin

Fred, Trey here, new HAS forum member.

Do we need to RSVP for the meet at your house on Saturday, or just come as we are?  Also, shall we bring any refreshments at all?

Thanks,
Trey

Hi Trey. No RSVP needed, just show up tomorrow at about 11:00. I'll provide Subway sandwiches, Shiner beer and soft drinks.  Grin

The meeting was most enjoyable. Good to see new faces and
long term participants. Good equipment and interesting combinations.

I got some blank looks when I mentioned the source of my Opus
dac modules, so here's the url:

www.twistedpearaudio.com

Though solid state, their stuff is leading edge and well thought
out.

thanks again,

I took lots, just need to get them in the gallery. I'll try and get that done this weekend. Life is in overdrive at the moment.
