I've noticed with the increasing price of gas fewer and fewer people are traveling to out of town audio meetings.  Angry

That's understandable, and we have to accept the fact that our club is changing as a result. So given the fact that few can be expected to come from the Austin / SA area, and probably none from DFW, I was wondering if any Houston area bottleheads would be interested in meeting here. I thought sometime toward the end of May would be good, and if two or three locals are interested I'll set one up. Any interest?

Hey I'll drive over. The end of may works well for me. AKFest is the first weekend in May, so I'll be back in plenty of time for something towards the end of the month.

I'll put it on my calendar!, I am planning to go to LSAF.
I'm close to wrapping up a TwistedPear Audio Opus DAC,
and it is very promising. I could do a little discussion of
Inguz Audio digital equalization for the Squeezebox.

It would be good if you would bring your Mapletree Audio preamp, your spud amp, and Silver Iris speakers, along with anything else you want to bring. We'll have all the other necessary things such as interconnects, speaker cables, a CD player, etc. Sorry, no vinyl at my house. The main focus of our meetings is on non mainstream equipment, but we don't exclude anything either.

Kyle - sounds like you've put together a great system.
Can't wait to hear it all.

I heard the Spud on the demo tour and liked it a lot.
